Dear Family and Friends,
I am leaving for Kenya this Friday, October 25, and wanted to implore you to pray for our trip. Prayer paves the way for successful ministry. I will be joining a team in Kijabe, Kenya for 1 week of cleft lip and palate. This is usually a fairly intense week of long hours but very fruitful. The surgery is transformative for these patients both physically and spiritually. Pray that the patients the LORD has ordained to be there will arrive safely. That we will have the wisdom and skill to care for them and that GOD will be the surgeon guiding our hands. The mothers need prayer for open ears to hear the gospel message.
Jimmy will then join me at the end of the week and we will head up to Tenwek Hospital in Bomet, Kenya. I will be teaching ENT to the general surgery residents. Pray that He brings in His people and that funds will be released for the necessary surgeries. Pray that God will make clear who I am to operate on and that He will equip me with all the knowledge and assistance I need. Join me in prayer for miraculous healing for these precious people.
Jimmy will be dispersing water filters to schools and orphanages. Pray that he will make new contacts for locations to bring the water filters and that the Lord would use Him for his purposes.
Travel will be tricky this year with 2 connections and lots of equipment and water filters. Please pray that our luggage is invisible and safely crosses over without tariffs or lost luggage.
