In an effort to stop New York’s assisted suicide legislation, the New York Alliance Against Assisted Suicide is sponsoring an advocacy day for medical professionals.
Please consider making the trip to Albany to aid our work. Medical professionals bring a unique perspective that elected officials must hear.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
- 11:00 AM Welcome
- 11:10 AM “Top Talking Points for Medical Professionals on Physician-Assisted Suicide”
- 11:30 AM “Tips on Meeting with Lawmakers”
- 11:45 AM Q&A Session
- 12:00 PM Press Conference: “Medical Professionals Say ‘Kill the Pain, Not the Patient’”
- 12:45 PM Begin Legislative Meetings
