In Memorium – Bob Easley

Robert M. Easley Jr. M.D.

Penfield – December 3, 2018. Predeceased by son, Timothy. Survived by beloved wife of 62 years, Norma; sons, Robert (Anne), William (Antoinette), James (Christine) and Steven; grandchildren, David, Matthew, Marion, Jamie, Timothy and Emma; great-granddaughter, Hazel; sister, Dorothy Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Emilie and Virgil Brisco; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Deborah Joss; many nieces and nephews.

A graduate of University of Rochester and Albany Medical College, Post graduate training at Strong Memorial, Genesee and Rochester General Hospitals. Practiced Cardiology for 46 years, founding the Rochester Cardiopulmonary Group. Served as Associate Chief of Medicine and Chief of Cardiology at Rochester General Hospital. Bob was a long time member of Perinton Community Church, where he held several leadership positions. He loved vegetable gardening and building anything-additions, decks, playhouses and cradles for grandchildren.

Bob and the family are grateful for outstanding and compassionate care by Drs. Bernard Farnand, John Genier, Stephen Silver and Alex Kurchin; as well as Lifetime Care and the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, where he spent his final 2 days in peace and comfort.

Bob’s Memorial Service was held on Sunday, December 9th at 2:30 pm at Perinton Community Church.
