Steve Noblett 1956-2025
Dear CCHF Family, As promised in our previous email, we are sharing the plans for Steve Noblett’s Memorial Service. Some of you may know that Steve’s oldest daughter, Angela Strange, serves on our CCHF staff. Angela has graciously shared a glimpse into her father’s final hours—a sacred moment that reflects the faith and peace Steve carried with him throughout his life. “In his final days, my parents’ home was filled with an overwhelming sense of God’s peace. Surrounded by our family, worship, and prayer, Dad’s transition felt...

We left the US on October 22 and arrived safely to Tenwek Hospital late Friday night, 11/24/25. We are grateful for safe travels and all the help of the WGM team that supported us along the way. We are resting now, recovering from the travels and upper respiratory illnesses we picked up along the way. Thankfully, we crossed customs with no issues, and our ocean shipment is presently sitting in Delaware but is on its way. This contains all the medical supplies. Thank you to all who supported this. We have a new ENT endoscopy tower for the...

We had a wonderfully interactive Fall Breakfast earlier today in the Blossom Room at Solid Rock Church (formerly Brighton Presbyterian) in Rochester with a good representation of faithful community providers along with members of the student group at URMC. After sharing a delicious breakfast and a time of encouraging fellowship we welcomed our Speaker, Siddharth [AKA “Sid”} Chittaranjan, an MD/PhD student at URMC, who shared from his heart, his experience, and the Word on the topic “Becoming a Servant of God”, followed by a lively...

Jimmy and Chase Miller are leaving for Africa very soon, this time to stay indefinitely. Here’s a portion of their recent communication: The details and preparations to move to a different continent are meaningless in comparison to what He is asking us to do. We are to keep our eyes on Him, the obedience He calls us too, realizing that the little details don’t really matter. He has made a way for us financially through all of you, and for this, we are eternally grateful. Thank you for joining Him in this cause to love and serve His...

Dear Friends of Steve, I want to share an important update regarding my Dad. Today, he begins two weeks of highly focused radiation treatments called SRS (Stereotactic Radiation Surgery). Dr. Vanderwalde at West Cancer Center here in Memphis is overseeing this process and is very hopeful that the radiation will kill the tumor. This is a rare treatment for the type of cancer Dad has, and if it works, his case may even be written about in future medical journals. We are asking you to please pray with us during these next two weeks. Pray for no...

A very stimulating gathering We had an enthusiastic turnout this past Saturday morning for our annual Fall Breakfast at Solid Rock (formerly Brighton Presbyterian) Church. Dr. Elise van der Jagt gave an outstanding presentation (click here for full PPTX version) of his perspective on the dramatic developments in medical science and care that have transpired over the past 50 years during his training and subsequent service at the University of Rochester Medical Center. It’s remarkable how much change we’ve been through in two...
