2017 Fall Breakfast

Our MCCF Fall Breakfast will be on

Drs. Darren Caparaso and David Holmes will present and lead a discussion about

Faith-based Approaches to Breaking the Chains of Addiction

 

 Outline of the session:

  1. Introduction
  2. A few brief facts about the opioid epidemic
  3. Patient in addiction recovery shares his addiction story, how he came to Christ and how faith and treatment is helping him in his recovery
  4. Questions the audience may have for the patient
  5. Faith-based approaches to addiction recovery –
    • within a busy physician’s office
    • counseling centers
    • inpatient programs
    • other community programs
  6. General Q & A and discussion
